ABSTRACT
After supervisors identify the essential topic areas necessary for a licensed practitioner in today’s world, the next step is to decide how to approach supervision in order to accomplish these stated goals for competence. A number of authors in the field of supervision have suggested the need to break down each topic area into components, and, like teachers, to place them in an organized supervision curriculum.
