ABSTRACT
Subject knowledge Business education is a complex mix of subjects, and this raises interesting questions
about trainees' subject knowledge and the expectations on both them and providers to
ensure a good quality experience. Inspectors have grown used to referring to the term
business education to cover all that is taught by specialist departments in school.
