ABSTRACT

Investment has improved the level of resources for the teaching of information and communication technology (ICT) in primary schools in recent years. The arrangement and availability of resources, however, still varies greatly from school to school. Some schools have invested heavily in centralised resources, setting up networked computer rooms or ICT suites. Some schools have combined the two approaches, so that children have access to a networked suite and classroom computers. This book makes some assumptions in relation to the management of those resources. However, most activities can be adapted for older or younger children and guidance on how this can be done is provided in the information for each project.
