ABSTRACT
It goes without saying that not everyone has to write business letters. However, more and more people would like to learn how to write business letters in Chinese. This is probably due to the increasing contacts between Western business communities and their counterparts in China. There are various types of business letters and they often require the use of business jargon. In this unit, we focus on letters promoting goods, letters inquiring about their prices, letters quoting prices, letters ordering goods, and letters confirming shipment.
