ABSTRACT
(Editor’s note: The following proposed Standards and Ethics for Museum Training Programs were developed by the International Committee for Training of Personnel. The proposal was introduced and reviewed at the ICTOP annual meeting in Rome (1991), distributed to the ICTOP general membership, and re-evaluated in Quebec City (1992). At that time, the Committee membership voted to forward the document to the ICOM Ethics Committee for review and action. The Ethics Committee may decide to return the Standards and Ethics proposal to ICTOP for further consideration or it may recommend the document for general acceptance. Should the latter action be decided, acceptance could be announced at the ICOM General Conference in 1995. The proposal is included in this publication as information.)
