ABSTRACT

There are many demands on funding available for the wide range of activities that schools wish to provide. Often they will be able to call on statutory budgets, established donors or parents for these funds. However, should a school have a large project, for which financial support is not available from usual sources, its governing body and staff may need to abandon it altogether. This would be a shame when, with a little knowledge and imagination, help may be obtained from sources such as government departments, local education authorities or organizations with a specific interest or remit.
