ABSTRACT

A group of students having supper together may talk about Prof. Blownitt’s lecture on nuclear power. Everyone has different ideas. If some people decide to chase up further information and pool it, they are beginning to operate as a team. In some modules you will research and write as a team, but remember you can use team skills and approaches to tackle other parts of your course. Two to fi ve people in the same fl at, hall of residence or tutor group can team up to extend and optimize research activities, and talking about geography or geology together will develop your discussion skills and broaden your views.
