ABSTRACT

Forensic neuropsychology is a subspecialty of clinical neuropsychology and a subspecialty of forensic psychology. It is not, however, subsumed by either of these psychological specialties. It is not "lawyering," although its parameters are defined by existing Jaw and it requires knowledge of legal rules. It is not "doctoring," although its application requires knowledge of neuropathology and neuropsychological assessment. Forensic neuropsychology is Jess than clinical neuropsychology and Jess than forensic psychology, but at the same time is more than either one.
