ABSTRACT

Role reversal is both a sociometric structural move and a dramatic technique to help assess the client’s willingness or ability to see through the eyes of another person and experience emotionally and physically the role of the other. The way the client enacts the role suggests how he views himself and the other person. It helps the client observe different aspects of behavior and gives him another viewpoint. In addition, it enables the client to think, feel, and act out interactions instead of just talking about them.
