ABSTRACT
After working for six years in Switzerland and doing a five-month training course in England, as well as a seven-month training course in the U.S.A., I returned to Milan, where Mara Selvini Palazzoli invited me to join her team. I worked with her for 14 years, until June 1985, doing clinical work, research, and writing, mainly on anorexia nervosa and psychosis. Then, it came to a point where I couldn't go on any longer in that setting.
