ABSTRACT
In the preceding chapter we illustrated the use of a one-way analysis of variance with a study investigating the effect of intralist similarity on trials to learn lists of nonsense syllables. If you were to undertake such a study, you would vary intralist similarity in a systematic fashion and then take great care to see that there were no other sources of systematic variation among groups.
