ABSTRACT
Fifty-four departments responded that they offer a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision (Table 14.1). Of that number, 39 are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Counselor education and supervision is the only kind of doctoral level programs accredited by CACREP. Of the 15 responding programs that are not accredited, seven of them stated that they anticipate applying for CACREP within the next three years.
