ABSTRACT

The Hindu personality and its basic nature, in terms of narcissism, confusion, and paradoxical compartmentalizations, have been discussed by many at length (Lynch, 1990; Spratt, 1966). Here, the focus is on specific emotions and how they fit into or portray the psyche of the Hindu individual. As most of the data looks at Hindu individuals, although occasionally the term Indian is used, the psyche described is Hindu.
