ABSTRACT
Baila muy bien pero canta muy mal. (He dances very well but he sings very badly.) La comida es buena. Cocina muy bien. (The food is good. She cooks very well.) La carretera es mala y él conduce muy mal. (The road is bad and he drives very badly.)
Many adverbs of manner in Spanish are formed by adding the suffix -mente to the feminine singular form of the adjective (or to the singular form in the case of invariable adjectives).
