ABSTRACT
Introduction This chapter is included in case readers are either interested to learn how tests are constructed or feel the urge to develop their own scale to measure some personality or ability trait. Please do not do so! In my experience, most students who decide to construct a scale do not appreciate how much work is involved in developing, refining and validating it.
