ABSTRACT
Back in the City of Angels, we bought a house on South Bentley Avenue, about a block and a half south of Sunset Boulevard within walking distance of the UCLA campus and Westwood Village. It was a lovely house, and on a clear day, we could see Catalina Island, that is, if you were willing to struggle up a steep slope in our backyard, stand on your tiptoes, and peek over the top.
