ABSTRACT
The World Trade Center bombing of September 11, 2001, is most assuredly one of the worst, if not the worst, tragic losses of life to occur in American society. The death of thousands of people and the televised collapse of one of the country's most recognizable architectural landmarks caused a tremendous shock to the nation that will be felt for years to come.
