ABSTRACT
Organizations are the means by which man achieves purposes that exceed the capacity of one individual. In this statement we recognize that organizations are the creations of man, that they are to be viewed as instruments for the accomplishment of objectives or purposes, and that their component elements, including human beings, are of restricted capacity in relation to the accomplishment of those objectives or purposes.
