ABSTRACT
(1) Circular reasoning will issue in a regress of sorts. (2) But only in certain special cases will such a regress or reasons be problematic. (3) Indeed sometimes—and in particular with the enhancement of the epistemic status of belief—circularity can serve to significant advantage.
