ABSTRACT
Before discussing in the abstract some of the varied theories of sexual deviation, it would be well to have a picture in mind of some actual instances of individuals who have failed to conform to normal standards. A study of such cases helps to show how aberrant tendencies develop, and provides a background against which to judge the plausibility or otherwise of the commoner explanations. Here, then, are the personal histories of two homosexual men, both very typical of their kind.
