ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book introduces the Qur'an and Hadith sources of jihad and dawah that support religiously and legitimize ideologically the hideous homicide bombers acts of the apocalyptic Islamic fanatical groups. It shows that unfortunately, these acts are not executed in vacuum or out of post-colonial hatred, frustration, humiliation, or wretchedness, but there are many religious verses from the highest authority that give them the impetus, the incentives and the rewards for their activities. The book addresses the statements and declarations of the Apocalyptic Global Jihad Groups' leaders. It describes the concept of holy war, even the phrase, does not exist in Islam. The book elaborates the Qur'an and the Hadith, are intended to prove that jihad and dawah are not a marginal and little valued phenomenon.
