The letter o f February 18, 1957, wri t ten when Jung was in his eighties, is similar but, i f anything, blurs the picture even more. Again Jung insists that Freud changed fundamentally, although i t seems to me that neither his works nor his letters, not to speak of Jones's three-volume biography, bear this out.
