ABSTRACT
The relations with which we will be concerned in this chapter are those between the evidence and the prospect. The question is whether, and in what cases, the evidence in an expectation can be interpreted as a premise and the prospect as a conclusion. The element of the individual is then suppressed. The transformation of the evidence into the prospect is the matter of logic, quite independent of who holds the expectation.
