ABSTRACT
The objective of this book has been to explore how interests are formed, how sociopolitical mobilization occurs and how it interacts with social changes, whether internally driven or as intervention. It has done so by examining examples of mobilization and interest formations in the multiple social realities of Somalia, Somaliland, and Afghanistan.
