ABSTRACT
I find no satisfaction in recounting what has happened since Sadat’s trip to Jerusalem, for while events have shown that I was correct in my assessment of what would result, the consequences for Egypt and the entire Arab world have been too negative to allow me to feel anything but a profound sadness.
