ANTONIO TAJANI (1953-) is one of the Vice-Presidents of the second Barroso Commission of the European Union (2010-14). He comes from Italy and first became a European Commissioner in 2008 following the election of the Berlusconi Government. He was re-appointed to the Barroso II team, where he took charge of industry and entrepreneurship.
