ABSTRACT
I’ve learnt that how you deal with the political side of the job can really impact upon how successful you can be as a coach … You can’t do it without support. You need to recognise what relationships and interactions you have with people. The more you know about that side of things, the more you can do with your coaching knowledge and practical skills. It has certainly made me more thoughtful about how and why I engage with the people I work with.
