ABSTRACT

The National Admissions Test for Law (LNAT) was developed in 2004 to aid admissions tutors in identifying the best students to accept onto their undergraduate law programmes. Since then, it has expanded in prominence and has become a well-established part of the applications process. Participating universities vary from year to year, but tend to include a nucleus of the most prestigious institutions for studying law. The same test applies across all participating universities and is compulsory in all but a handful of situations.
