ABSTRACT
A wall of family photographs extends the length of the center hallway of my home. It shows parents, grandparents, children, and grandchildren across three generations and ten households. There are old, faded, black and whites, and newer, color photos. The handcrafted Italian frames complement both types, giving an intensity that's sometimes missing from contemporary snapshots, and emphasizing the rich historical and cultural qualities of the aging photographs.
