ABSTRACT
How do states influence one another? How do they elicit compliance from each other? These are perennial questions for the study and practice of international politics. Despite their vintage and recurring nature, one is strained to argue that the study of international politics has brought us closer to a more virtuoso understanding of the varied dimensions and processes involved in international influence and ultimately compliance.
