There are no clear boundaries between being a journalist and being an editor. While there are plenty of new responsibilities – representing the publication, giving it direction, managing staff, resources, and above all time – it is not always clear what you must give up to make room for this. Inevitably, however, you will have to spend less and less of your time reporting on your field or writing features.
