ABSTRACT
Discussions of the characteristics of narrative, following established traditions inherited from literature and linguistics, used to focus on the story as an object, a text that could be studied in relative autonomy from its production and reception. However, over the past decades the pragmatic aspects have increasingly come to the fore, and narratives have been analyzed embedded in interlocution.
