ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the question which I am often asked: ‘Do these ideas of teaching with emotional intelligence still apply and, if so, to what extent, when you are teaching international students?’ I am taking the term ‘international student’ to refer to a student who has moved to another country to study full-time.
