ABSTRACT
As children become toddlers they grow and mature, and so become capable of many more things. This is a time when children get much joy from their achievements and this can be seen when they repeat and practise activities that have pleased them. It is fascinating to see how the changing competences are reflected in the different aspects of their development, i.e. in play, movement and language (see Table 3.1).
