ABSTRACT
I used to name everything in the room - have tickets up with 'door' written on, and things like that. I never consciously taught him. And then when he got further on, he started the Ladybird series; about two books, and it was all there by then. It's just a thing he grew up with; when they see everybody picking up books, I suppose they want to be reading themselves.
