ABSTRACT
This project was created by Jane Dawson and Mike Butler (School Improvement Advisers, NorthTyneside), Karen Jeff (Valley Gardens Middle School,Whitley Bay) and Sarah Kemp of Thêàtre Sans Frontières working with students from Valley Gardens Middle School, North Tyneside and Harton Technology College, Jarrow School and St Joseph’s RC School, SouthTyneside.The original project was conceived and created by Noel Jackson (Head of Education at the Centre for Life, Newcastle upon Tyne), John Cobb, and Sarah Kemp with assistance from: Mark Hanly, Jane Williamson and Simon Henderson (Théâtre Sans Frontières), Margaret Turner and Jacqui Cameron (Hexham Middle School), Hugh Beattie (Corbridge Middle School), Rella LaRoe (Centre for Life) with funding from The Welcome Trust.
