ABSTRACT

The purpose of this chapter is to illustrate how program theory-driven evaluation science was used to help design, implement, and evaluate a reemployment program delivered in three different organizations in the state of California. This chapter is organized to illustrate how the three general steps of program theory-driven evaluation science were implemented in this evaluation:

1. Developing program impact theory. 2. Formulating and prioritizing evaluation questions. 3. Answering evaluation questions.
