ABSTRACT
Over 50% of all marriages end in divorce and approximately one million children per year experience the divorce of their parents. Of all children born in 1990, from 50% to 60% will live in a single parent family. Of these divorces, 10% are high conflict (Glick, 1988). An even smaller percentage require a child custody evaluation to resolve custody disputes (Hoppe & Kenney, 1994).
