Judicial process as a means of promoting corporate responsibility abroad

This chapter considers the possibility of a more effective judicial oversight of MNC operations by home states of MNCs. This possibility is explored in the light of the concept of extraterritoriality, the EU regulatory framework and the Alien Torts Claim Act (ATCA)¹ jurisprudence in the United States.
