ABSTRACT

In attempting to assess the desirability of any specific curriculum there are four things we have to do. First we have to consider whether, regardless of what it might achieve, there is anything that strikes us as immoral about it. Secondly we have to be convinced that it is practicable. Thirdly we have to understand exactly what it is that will be achieved by the curriculum. And finally we have to ask ourselves whether there is good reason to regard whatever will be achieved as desirable.
