ABSTRACT
This book has explored the conversion from traditional public administration enhanced by electronic government to expanded forms of digital governance, emphasizing the importance of citizen participation, interoperability and information technology to accomplish the change. Chapters concentrated on strategies for organizational transformation and their implications for improved and measurable government performance. This concluding chapter summarizes the main points of each section, highlights recurring themes, discusses paradoxes and outlines future challenges.
