ABSTRACT
“Gina”’s career has spanned the educational landscape from elementary school teacher to middle- and high-school administrator, to district superintendent, to educational administration and faculty, to university provost. A White woman with a heart for social justice and educational equity, Gina has worked very hard over the years to frame issues that gather people together rather than divide them. The broad spectrum of knowledge that she carries has enabled her to provide insight and leadership to schools, districts, educational organizations, and now the university with credibility grounded in her knowledge, skills, and disposition that has led her to the application of relevant and current content pedagogy with an eye toward assessment. In her estimation and based on her experience, leadership is change.
