ABSTRACT
It was the first time some of the girls had ever even held a hammer. Some of them only took up the woodwork class because there were lots of boys in it and Mr Nolan was supposed to be great fun. Anyway, it was only for one semester. With all those lovely boys to look at, Sophie and Ellie both agreed it was a genius idea. But there was one thing that worried them – their nails. Messing with wood, saws, hammers and God knows what else could easily cause a girl to break a nail.
