ABSTRACT
This area encompasses a whole range of media and materials for children to explore and be creative with, such as paint, messy play, cutting, sticking, drawing, textiles, sculpture, mosaic, junk modelling and printing. When children work in this area they naturally explore shape and space in both 2 and 3 dimensions on large and small scales. It is important the creative workshop is an area full of interesting resources for children to choose freely from, such as fabric, boxes, recycled materials, sequins, glitter and a range of mark making materials, tools and equipment.
