ABSTRACT
Four years after the collision of a United Alt· lines Dougl a s DC-7 and a TWA Super Constellation over the Grand Canyon, a similar accident occurred over the district of Brooklyn In New York . It Involved the same two carri e rs , virtually Identical aircraft . and It cost the same number of lives . It also showed that , desp ite a program of Improvements , US air traffic control procedures were stili fraught with problems .
