As with the other aspects, as children progress through Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, so they learn more complex programs, and the techniques associated with them. But as we saw in Chapter 2, the learning of these techniques is a means to an end, not an end in itself. Therefore, progression in lCT is not about a progression in terms of lCT techniques, but in terms of progression in lCT capability.
