ABSTRACT
The idea for this collection is exceedingly straightforward: Collect accurate urban plans and redraw them at the same scale using the same graphic convention so that students might establish a frame of reference for their design work. This is not an altogether unique or astounding idea; however, since 1990, in both academia and practice, it is one that colleagues, architects, urban designers and students have found of interest.
