Drawing parents, governors and others into the work of assistants

This chapter considers the ways in which assistants are able to develop effective working relationships, liaison and communication with other people (other than with class teachers, which was explored in the last chapter) who are directly concerned in the process of education. The issues outlined in Chapter 4 underpin at a conceptual level what is written here.
