ABSTRACT

This chapter is about discovering subtle movements of the larynx. If you can learn how your larynx moves you are less likely to be limited by your own habitual vocal patterns. Your physical training as an actor is geared towards strength, flexibility and expression. Why should it be any different with your voice? Using exercises to refine movements of the larynx will help you to develop a flexible instrument, capable of a broad emotional range and subtlety of nuance.
