ABSTRACT
This chapter will make you more secure in understanding the structure of the primary science curriculum and its purposes. Starting with a look at how the National Curriculum for Science in England and Wales is structured, it goes on to consider how you can plan to teach it and to ensure that children receive their entitlement to a good primary science education.
